TVS Motor Company recorded a strong performance in August 2026, with its domestic two-wheeler sales reaching 4,33,796 units, compared with 3,68,862 units in August 2025. This represents an 18% year-on-year increase. Overall, TVS sold 6,16,540 vehicles globally during the month.
The Jupiter remained the biggest contributor to TVS domestic sales, while the iQube and newly established Orbiter electric scooter range also made a significant contribution.

TVS Jupiter Sales
The TVS Jupiter was the best-selling TVS model in August 2026, recording 1,47,450 units.
Sales increased 3.54% compared with the 1,42,411 units sold in August 2025. However, compared with July 2026, when Jupiter recorded 1,48,595 units, August sales declined slightly by 0.77%.
Jupiter alone contributed nearly 34% of TVS’ domestic two-wheeler sales during the month.
TVS Apache Sales
The TVS Apache range recorded 55,123 units in August 2026, representing a 22.39% increase over the 45,038 units sold during the same month last year.
Compared with July’s 59,404 units, however, August sales were down 7.21%. The premium Apache RTX/310 range contributed an additional 1,925 units.
TVS XL Sales
The TVS XL moped recorded 45,936 units in August 2026.
The figure was 4.67% higher than the 43,886 units sold in August 2025. Month-on-month sales, however, declined from 50,497 units in July to 45,936 units in August.
The XL continues to serve customers looking for a simple and practical two-wheeler, particularly for utility and commercial applications.
TVS iQube Sales
The TVS iQube delivered one of the strongest year-on-year performances in the lineup. It recorded 42,882 units in August 2026, compared with 24,434 units in August 2025.
That represents approximately 75.5% year-on-year growth. Despite the annual growth, iQube sales were down from 59,386 units in July 2026.
TVS also reported that its electric two-wheeler sales increased dramatically, with 59,453 EVs sold in August 2026 compared with 25,138 units a year earlier.
TVS Ntorq Sales
The Ntorq 125 registered 28,298 units in August 2026, while the Ntorq 150 added 11,958 units.
Together, the Ntorq family reached 40,256 units during the month. Combined sales increased around 5% compared with July 2026.
The Ntorq continues to be an important scooter in TVS’ performance-oriented scooter portfolio.
TVS Raider Sales
The TVS Raider recorded 37,002 units in August 2026.
Sales increased 10.67% year-on-year from 33,434 units in August 2025. The Raider also recorded an 8.43% month-on-month increase compared with July’s 34,125 units.
The motorcycle continues to play an important role in TVS’ 125cc segment.
TVS Orbiter Sales
The TVS Orbiter recorded 14,641 units in August 2026. It is a relatively newer addition to TVS’ electric scooter portfolio and helped take the company’s combined iQube and Orbiter sales to 57,523 units.
The Orbiter accounted for roughly one-quarter of TVS’ electric scooter dispatches in August, while the iQube remained the larger contributor.

TVS Motor’s total vehicle sales reached 6,16,540 units in August 2026, up 21% from 5,09,536 units in August 2025. Total two-wheeler sales stood at 5,91,437 units, also up 21% year-on-year.
